Since July 2024, we have put together a specific program to help her regain a firm, sculpted body, in line with her desires and needs. And you'll see that her physical progress, which inspires so many women, is built on principles that are accessible to everyone.

Today, we're not going to talk to you about Caroline Receveur, known for her influence on social media, but about Caro, this sensitive, gentle, and generous woman. Behind her success and public image is a kind person, a woman who, like so many others, wants to take care of herself, her body, and her health.

You may already know this, but Caroline was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023. And cancer means treatments, and treatments can mean side effects that are sometimes hard on the body.

In her case, she was put into forced menopause, a complete upheaval for her hormonal system.

Her doctors had warned her: her metabolism was going to slow down, and weight gain was inevitable. But beyond the weight itself, what really stood out to her was the feeling of muscle loss. Her body was changing. Without really gaining kilos, she felt less firm, less toned, despite a healthy lifestyle: daily walking, reformer Pilates, and a balanced diet.

That was when Caro reached out to us. Why us?

You've never seen us dancing on TikTok or posing on Instagram showing off our muscles. We're not fitness influencers. We are Jérémy Loreau. A discreet guy, tattooed from head to toe, wearing silver jewelry, and dressed only in black.

That's how you could caricature us.

More seriously, we have been online fitness and nutrition coaches since 2015. Specializing in coaching women, we have supported several thousand women through their physical transformation.

Now let's look concretely at what we put in place to help Caro reach her goal.

Caroline RECEVEUR's nutrition and training restructuring

Before starting a physical transformation (fat loss, bulking, or anything else), you need a solid strategy. Knowing where you're starting from and where you want to go is essential to putting together a coherent and effective program.

Even though Caroline already cared about training and nutrition before starting coaching, her knowledge did not allow her to achieve the firm, sculpted body she wants. So we reviewed her nutrition and put together a personalized strength training program.

Caroline's starting point

Caro does not have weight to lose. What she is looking for is to build muscle throughout her body so she can look sculpted, without becoming too bulky. And to do that while losing a little fat at the same time. Put simply, she is looking to do a body recomposition.

To make that happen, we put in place:

  • A slight caloric deficit combined with strength training. This combination will allow her to tone her body while losing a little fat. 
  • A flexible diet aimed at excluding no food category.

That way, she can stay at a body fat percentage between 18 and 22%, without frustration. You can also estimate yours in 30 seconds with our body fat percentage calculator.

Once the goals are clearly established and the broad outlines of the strategy are defined, we move into the heart of the strategy.

Solid nutrition knowledge for visible, lasting results

For Caroline to achieve the sculpted body she wants, we focused on two key aspects of her diet:

  • Her daily protein intake;
  • Her daily calorie total.

Caroline was already paying attention to what she ate, but she was not aware of how important protein is for a toned, harmonious body. In a few words, protein is essential for post-workout muscle recovery, and therefore for building muscle. If you don't eat enough of it, your muscles won't have the fuel they need to recover properly after training, and therefore not enough energy to grow. 

The result? You won't get the shaped glutes or the harmonious figure you want.

Since Caroline was not consuming enough on a daily basis, we increased her daily amount by aiming a range of 1.6 g (minimum) to 2.2 g of protein per kilo of body weight.

In addition to protein, there is a second essential element to take into account for a firm body and a harmonious figure: total daily calorie intake. 

Put simply, your maintenance level corresponds to the amount of calories you need to consume daily to maintain a stable weight. It depends on several factors such as your age, sex, height, activity level, etc. If you eat more calories daily than your maintenance level, you will gain weight. Conversely, if you eat less, you will lose weight.

Caroline had no idea how many calories she was consuming daily. So she learned how to count her calories to truly become aware of what she was eating. Counting her calories allows her to manage the caloric deficit we put in place very easily (around -10% of her maintenance calorie needs), which greatly facilitates her body recomposition.

But how did she learn all that?

She followed our nutrition guide. This guide lays out all the nutritional foundations you need to understand how what you eat positively or negatively influences your body. You'll see that nutrition is actually very simple to understand, contrary to what people want us to believe.

Thanks to that, Caro was finally able to find a way of eating that suits her. At the start of coaching, she was very, too, strict about what she ate and felt guilty as soon as she had a small slipup. For example, she thought you absolutely could not eat chocolate if you wanted to lose weight. That it had to be banned forever.

Today, her relationship with food is improving. She now knows that these kinds of little pleasures will not make her gain weight thanks to what we have put in place through coaching.

As you can see, optimized nutrition is essential for a successful physical transformation. But on its own, her diet will not bring the muscle tone Caroline is looking for. So she needs a way to effectively stimulate her muscles.

Caroline RECEVEUR's custom strength training program

Strength training. This physical activity is the key to a toned body and a harmonious figure. You won't be able to avoid it. Caroline started it as part of coaching, in fact. Even though Pilates made her feel good, she was not able to achieve the firm, sculpted body she wanted.

We can see you coming! No, you won't look like a female bodybuilder if you do strength training. You can take a look at the strength training before-and-afters we publish on our site to see for yourself.

This is exactly what Caroline wants: 

  • Round glutes;
  • A sculpted back, but not too muscular;
  • A firm body overall;
  • A lean figure, she does not want to be too bulky like female bodybuilders can be.

To get there, we built her a custom program adapted to her day-to-day constraints.

So she has 2 training variations:

A first one for periods when she has time to work out. During those times, she does 3 to 4 one-hour workouts per week.

A second variation for very busy periods: 15 to 20 mins of training every day. Contrary to what you may hear, it is very beneficial to do around ten minutes of training every day.

How did we build this program? 

We took into account her training and medical history, her goals, her preferences, her body type, and her schedule to offer her something that fits her perfectly. And since we track her workouts remotely through our app, we can adjust them based on her performance and preferences.

What's next for Caroline?

Moving forward, Caro's goals are: 

  • To continue improving her relationship with food. She no longer wants to be stuck in a kind of food rigidity that prevents her from enjoying sweet or fatty treats from time to time. She no longer wants to suffer from the frustration and guilt this behavior creates. She is getting better and better at it.
  • To continue firming up and sculpting her body despite life's challenges and her ever-changing daily routine. And for that, she fully intends to keep doing strength training for the rest of her life. 
  • More generally, her goal today is to put her health at the center of her priorities.

These last two years have truly made her realize how important it is to take care of herself, both physically and mentally. Life is already very short, so we're not going to spend it feeling bad in the one and only body we have.

A life of unhappiness is not a life.

What's next for you?

As you can see, Caroline is a fighter. She does not let life's difficulties crush her. She faces them with pride. Coaching is one of the ways she manages to do that. It is the solution she found to achieve a body she feels in harmony with.

Despite having a varied athletic background, I was no longer making progress after a difficult ordeal and the effects of menopause. 10 months ago, I joined Jérémy's program feeling deeply exhausted, both physically and mentally, with the sense that I'd tried everything without ever being able to stick with it over time.

Living with moderate obesity, I tried different methods, diets, fasting, and even electrostimulation, but I always ended up giving up, with more frustration, more guilt, and extra weight gained.

Hello, I'm 52 years old, and I had been struggling for more than 5 years trying to lose weight. I was exhausting myself doing cardio, Pilates, basically trying a bit of everything, and when it came to food, I thought I was eating well.

A difference of about 10 kg (weight loss) and a more toned physique.

Not everything was perfect. Sometimes, I didn’t follow the program, and Jérémy helped me let go of the guilt. Those moments are part of the process, what matters is doing your best and sticking with it. Sometimes, I felt like it was pointless, then I looked at the results. I was proud of myself. Other times, I was extremely consistent and it was absolutely on fire.

Before Jérémy, my body was a real obstacle and I didn’t understand why my weight was going up even though “I wasn’t eating that badly.”

After Jérémy, I understood: eating healthy is not the same as fat loss. There are so many factors to take into account, and I learned them by his side.

A wonderful tailored experience and a transformation that went beyond my expectations! I lost almost 10 kilos in 6/7 months without ever feeling like I was making a huge effort.

No frustration, no forbidden foods (yes, yes, fries, raclette, etc., are absolutely allowed), I "just" learned how to properly manage my own energy budgets, calorie intake but also calorie expenditure (no more taking the car for every little thing!), based on my age, lifestyle, and body type.

I chose to start coaching after gradual weight gain that was worrying me. Despite that, the professionals I saw did not take me seriously, since my BMI was considered "normal." I was often told that "after 40, that's completely common." And yet, deep down, I knew something was wrong. I'm one of those people who prefer to listen to their own feelings rather than blindly trust conventional narratives.

I dreamed of it, and Jérémy made it happen!

How can I describe the incredible life-changing experience of meeting Jérémy, a coach who is educational, kind, and always listening?
The ideal coach, really!

I’ve never exactly been naturally slim, but I have to admit I really went off track in recent years, gaining 20 kg in 5 years without managing to turn things around.
Despite my various attempts, cardio, diet support, EMS electrostimulation classes, and even "good resolutions", none of them worked.
So in the end, I had more or less resigned myself and accepted it: it was too late to change, and I would just live with the consequences of letting myself go for the rest of my life, dissatisfied...

Then, this summer, came the wake-up moment: I couldn’t keep up with my sons and my husband or fully enjoy family activities.
