We took the time to listen to her, even though the words she used against herself and her whole body were very harsh, we dug into her deeper reason.

Physical activity and healthy habits, the perfect match

An excellent training program and increasing your calorie expenditure, without nutrition coaching, will not allow you to shape the fit body you want.

Contrary to what people want you to believe, you do not need to do extreme things to transform yourself.

There is no need to deprive yourself of foods you love (sugar-free, fat-free, unprocessed and all that blah blah), do hours of cardio training, group classes, or hundreds of reps of ineffective abs/glutes exercises.

Beginner strength training at home

Laure was more into team sports during her teenage years, and had never been drawn to strength training as a sport.

To her, it was a sport for guys who just wanted to get huge. And she was convinced that as soon as she lifted dumbbells, she would immediately get broader shoulders and arms.

That belief kept her for a long time from getting started to achieve the athletic body she liked.

Without any physical activity for several years and afraid of becoming too muscular, she did not know where to start (and certainly not with gym strength training).

That is what gave her the wake-up moment to look for a strength coach for women. She found us and we clicked right away.

Drinking alcohol on occasion can be part of a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. In our view, that’s what the fitness lifestyle is.

Thanks to her personalized strength training program, tailored to the fit, feminine silhouette she wanted, she was able to feel her muscles working without pain.

The hardest part is not starting, but staying consistent over time, that’s why we always insist: it is important to gradually build a new daily routine for yourself, to adopt a fitness lifestyle (fitness Lifestyle) where it is obviously still possible to party, eat with pleasure, have fun, but without tipping over into excess.

Should you lose weight or bulk to get a fit body?

This is a question that comes up very often and that you may be asking yourself.

To keep it simple (and be a little direct): if when you pinch yourself, what you have between your fingers is thick, then there is fat to lose.

By checking a little more carefully, if your body fat percentage is above 24%, you will need to start by putting a caloric deficit in place to shape your fit body.

To give you an idea, here is one of our champions, Laura, on the left at 28% body fat and on the right at 22%.

On the other hand, if you have a little bit of fat, it bothers you, but you are below 24% body fat, then it is better to do a body recomposition with a slight caloric deficit or energy surplus.We wrote a complete guide to estimate your body fat percentage if you want.

Combined with optimal training, you are going to lose fat and build muscle.

When you are new to strength training, your body is highly responsive, so the first results can come quickly. If you do it right, of course.

What you need to understand, and what will keep you from starving yourself while thinking you are doing the right thing, is that to build muscle mass, you need:

  • triglycerides (fat, in other words), which is why when you have fat to lose, you have energy to spare to build muscle mass.
  • Water, the body is made up of 65% of it, paying attention to staying well hydrated is fundamental for being physically fit.
  • Protein, all of our Champions have access to a complete training program to learn the right habits to put in place (we make sure protein intake is sufficient for each of them).
  • And a stimulus, meaning the muscle needs to be challenged enough to be forced to grow, and that happens through the training program.

Without that, no results. Or at least no visible results on your physique.

Beyond the tailored program we create for each of them, our Champions have access to all the resources they need to understand what situation they are in and know exactly what they need to do to create their dream body.

And we can say this very clearly: losing only weight on the scale will not give you a fit body!

For Laure, we went through two phases:

  • Phase 1. A 20% caloric deficit to start. We assessed that given her body composition and physical activity level, she needed about 2,100 calories per day to maintain her weight. So we recommended that she consume an average of 1,700 calories per day.
  • Phase 2. Once she was lean enough, we moved to a muscle gain goal with a 5% energy surplus, or an average of 2400 calories per day, for 10 weeks to add size, especially in her glutes.

Thanks to the progressive increase in her muscle mass, Laure increased her metabolism and needs more calories to maintain her weight than before.

At the same body weight, a person who has more muscle mass needs more calories, which is why you probably often hear about a slow metabolism.

That is also why the weight shown on the scale is not the indicator that should guide all your decisions: for a physical transformation, if you focus on weight loss, you stop yourself from building your body the way you want.

Laure weighed exactly 63.2 kilos before starting strength training.

Here are the photos Laure took on the first day of her physical transformation to track her before-and-after progress.

After her 4-month cut (middle photo), she weighed 55.6 kilos, which is 7.6 kilos less.

Here are her results after 4 months of training and a 20% caloric deficit.

At the end of her muscle gain phase (right photo), she weighed 58.4 kilos, which is 2.8 kilos of additional muscle.

After 2 months and 2 weeks of muscle gain, Laure achieved even rounder glutes.

If we compare the change in her weight between when she started strength training (63.2 kg) and the end of her muscle gain phase (58.4 kg), Laure lost only 4.8 kilos on the scale.

But as you can see, her physique is completely transformed.

Fitness program to get a well-defined female body

Laure had a very clear idea in mind of her ideal body when we started working together: a defined stomach where she could see her abs, a slimmer waist, leaner thighs and firmer glutes.

Even though she did not feel capable of succeeding one day, we can tell you that for Laure today, having an athletic body is a real source of pride.

And if that is your goal too. Perfect, we’re going to show you a few elements of the strength training program put in place to help Laure achieve her fit female body.

A fit body is a lean body, but not overly lean either. It is not a bodybuilder physique.

For example, Gina, whose goal was to build her glutes, became passionate about fitness and is continuing her coaching with us to prepare for Bikini Fitness competitions.

That may not necessarily be your goal, you may want a toned body like Laure’s (and know that, whatever your starting point, it is possible).

“When you pay, you do not want to pay for nothing either.

Especially when after 1 month you already see results.

You feel less bloated, you feel better...

You cannot tell yourself it is hard.

It is amazing, on the contrary.

I said to myself: why didn’t I do this before!”

Since Laure wanted to train only at home, the exercises were almost entirely bodyweight-based, with little equipment.

There is no need to spend crazy amounts on a gym membership or strength training machines if you do not want to.

The program must adapt to your aesthetic and athletic goals and your daily constraints to be sustainable and beneficial over time.

The key exercises in the program Laure followed to shape her glutes and lose saddlebags:

Some specific ab exercises, because Laure wanted to see them become defined:

On the other hand, no oblique work so as not to thicken her waist, because yes, when you train a muscle or muscle group, it grows (and therefore the body part concerned gets thicker).

So if you want a small waist, we do not recommend doing too many targeted ab exercises.

The complementary exercises in the program to help Laure build her fit female body:

We emphasized work on her glutes and inner thighs more than on her quadriceps to create a lean effect in her legs.

She wanted a lean, defined body.

But that is not all. Laure had also set herself a personal challenge.

To succeed at doing push-ups!

Since she had never managed it in the past, it seemed impossible to her.

But impossible is not in our vocabulary.

We had to prove to her that with training, she would be capable of it.

To take on this challenge:

  • We first had her do incline push-ups on her kitchen counter (yes, you need a little creativity when you train at home), so that she could build the muscles and strength needed.
  • She then progressed to knee push-ups.

Until she gained enough confidence to take the plunge and do her first full push-up with a lot of pride.

Here are a few lines about her journey.

To tell you everything, it would take us several tens of thousands of words.

Today Laure has managed to free herself from her addictions and has found her balance thanks to fitness and healthy eating, without restriction, that we passed on to her.

She is able to do pull-ups and one-arm push-ups.

We have to say we admire her journey and her mindset.

It was not easy every day.

But Laure was able to place all her trust in us and share her moments of doubt and difficulty.

One thing is certain: she was ready to change, to turn the pain of “I can’t stand myself anymore” into a strength that took her beyond her goals.

A physical transformation is never a long, calm river, we all have our little demons whispering to us, “stop, give up.

You will always need to remember the "why" behind starting this physical transformation journey.

Personally, it has been more than 5 years since I recovered from eating disorders, but I still sometimes hear that little voice trying to make me doubt.

There are no miracle formulas for reaching your goal. But knowing how to surround yourself well, feeling supported, and leaning on what you no longer want to put yourself through in order to turn it into a strength, those are the secrets of lasting change.

Before contacting Jérémy, I was overweight. I was still carrying 10 extra kg after my pregnancies. I had been carrying those kilos for 13 years. I tried all kinds of different diets (chronobio, Dukan...) and none of them worked long-term. Honestly, I was really starting to think it was hopeless.

Despite having a varied athletic background, I was no longer making progress after a difficult ordeal and the effects of menopause. I started coaching in May 2025, I weighed 59kg, and thanks to your method, I lost 11kg of fat mass in 6 months. I've done many fitness programs, on my own and with coaches who promised support that, in the end, wasn't really there... as well as many diets and nutrition reset plans with dietitians...

This time, I truly found the program that's right for me. Jérémy and his team are very supportive. 10 months ago, I joined Jérémy's program feeling deeply exhausted, both physically and mentally, with the sense that I'd tried everything without ever being able to stick with it over time.

Living with moderate obesity, I tried different methods, diets, fasting, and even electrostimulation, but I always ended up giving up, with more frustration, more guilt, and extra weight gained.

Hello, I'm 52 years old, and I had been struggling for more than 5 years trying to lose weight. I was exhausting myself doing cardio, Pilates, basically trying a bit of everything, and when it came to food, I thought I was eating well.

A difference of about 10 kg (weight loss) and a more toned physique.

Not everything was perfect. Sometimes, I didn’t follow the program, and Jérémy helped me let go of the guilt. Those moments are part of the process, what matters is doing your best and sticking with it. Sometimes, I felt like it was pointless, then I looked at the results. I was proud of myself. Other times, I was extremely consistent and it was absolutely on fire.

Before Jérémy, my body was a real obstacle and I didn’t understand why my weight was going up even though “I wasn’t eating that badly.”

After Jérémy, I understood: eating healthy is not the same as fat loss. There are so many factors to take into account, and I learned them by his side.

A wonderful tailored experience and a transformation that went beyond my expectations! I lost almost 10 kilos in 6/7 months without ever feeling like I was making a huge effort.

I chose to start coaching after gradual weight gain that was worrying me. Despite that, the professionals I saw did not take me seriously, since my BMI was considered "normal." I was often told that "after 40, that's completely common." And yet, deep down, I knew something was wrong. I'm one of those people who prefer to listen to their own feelings rather than blindly trust conventional narratives.

I dreamed of it, and Jérémy made it happen!

How can I describe the incredible life-changing experience of meeting Jérémy, a coach who is educational, kind, and always listening?
The ideal coach, really!

I’ve never exactly been naturally slim, but I have to admit I really went off track in recent years, gaining 20 kg in 5 years without managing to turn things around.
Despite my various attempts, cardio, diet support, EMS electrostimulation classes, and even "good resolutions", none of them worked.
So in the end, I had more or less resigned myself and accepted it: it was too late to change, and I would just live with the consequences of letting myself go for the rest of my life, dissatisfied...

Then, this summer, came the wake-up moment: I couldn’t keep up with my sons and my husband or fully enjoy family activities.
Determined to change the course of things and stop suffering through it without reacting, I clearly identified what I needed: support from someone able to help me both nutritionally and physically.

I reached out to Jérémy after gaining weight following a thyroidectomy, combined with the onset of menopause. I was stuck in limiting beliefs, convinced, after reading many testimonials from women in my situation, that it was almost impossible to lose weight after that kind of surgery and with menopause.
