When Juliette started what she calls her body transformation, she had more than 30 kilos to lose.

Those kilos didn’t appear overnight. They settled in gradually, over the months. After major periods of stress and difficult challenges to overcome. Times when food and sugar become a refuge. And in the moment, it really does help. It comforts you. But over time, those moments of comfort end up leaving a mark. A few kilos at first. Then more. They settle in without you even noticing.

Until the day the mirror reflects back an image that no longer matches the one you have of yourself. Your self-confidence takes a serious hit. But how do you change when you don’t know where to start? When you tend to put yourself down at the slightest opportunity?

Juliette went through that. And yet, in 18 months, she lost 31.1 kilos.

Without surgery. Without an extreme diet. Without spending her life at the gym. Without being surrounded by an army of specialists. And without constantly fighting against her body. The most impressive part? Dozens of women have done it. So how did all these women manage to lose 30 kilos in 9 months, 12 months, or even 16 months? How did they get a firm, balanced body, without loose skin?

They used four fundamental keys.

Four keys they integrated into their daily lives: 

  • Following a caloric deficit adapted to their body and goals;
  • Following a strength training program built around their goals; 
  • Eating enough protein to firm up your body;
  • Prioritizing consistency over perfection.

What if we told you that you could eat this kind of meal every day while still losing weight? Sounds amazing, right? Well, that’s the reality. But how does it actually work? The solution comes down to two words: caloric deficit.

To keep it simple, a caloric deficit means eating fewer calories, and therefore less energy, each day than your body needs to function normally. That forces it to draw that energy from the calories you’ve stored as fat. Because yes, fat is simply an energy reserve. By drawing from those reserves, your body gradually reduces your body fat, and you lose weight.

But very often, when people hear about a caloric deficit, many imagine they need to eat less. Much less. A piece of lettuce here. A raw carrot there. A plain chicken breast with no sauce. They don’t build any precise strategy, and they set aside everything that gives food flavor, out of fear that it might be too high in calories.

The result? They constantly deprive themselves, starve themselves, and end up creating an unhealthy relationship with food. 

And how can you stick with it over time when you’re constantly torn by hunger? When all you can think about is eating the whole chocolate bar hidden in the back of the kitchen cupboard.

In reality, a well-built caloric deficit comes down to 3 things:

  • Satiety: eating low-calorie meals that are highly filling, protein plays an essential role here;
  • Taste: eating meals you enjoy, it may sound obvious, but many women put the pleasure of eating on the back burner when it comes to losing weight;
  • Respecting your daily calorie total: tracking the calories you eat each day to reach your weight loss goals.

That’s what Juliette applied to go from 90 kg to 58.9 kg.

For her, eating plain white fish, chicken, or pasta without sauce was out of the question. Eating is about savoring. It’s about enjoying the moment. Whether you’re trying to lose weight or not.

So she created indulgent, high-protein, low-calorie sauces for herself:

  • 0% curry sauce: a rich, coating sauce for an explosion of flavor in your mouth, without the calories that usually come with it;
  • 0% Saint-Môret sauce: a mix of cream cheese, water, and fresh herbs to enhance the flavor of your fish and pasta while adding freshness;
  • Pesto and cream cheese sauce: pesto for flavor and cream cheese for food volume, giving you a sauce that’s rich in flavor and low in calories;

The possibilities are endless: fresh goat cheese sauce, citrus sauce, and more. The list goes on. By adapting the meals she ate to her tastes, instead of the other way around, Juliette made her body transformation easier.

That’s also what Manon and Audrey did.

As you can see, a caloric deficit is there to eliminate excess body fat. But on its own, it’s not enough to get the firm, balanced body you want.  

Key #2: Follow a personalized strength training program to shape your body

Your diet slims your silhouette. Strength training firms and shapes your body. That’s why it plays a crucial role in your body transformation. Once the fat is gone, the muscles underneath need to be developed enough to shape your body. To make your silhouette look balanced and your body feel firmer.

But why strength training, and not another sport?

Because it’s the only sport that lets you sculpt your silhouette exactly the way you want. Want firmer arms? Rounder glutes? More defined thighs? With the right strength training program, all of that becomes possible.

And don’t worry, you don’t need to spend hours at the gym every week.

So how do you build muscle harmoniously when you have 30 kg to lose?

What you need to do is prioritize exercises that slim your silhouette while giving it an X shape.

Let us explain. Juliette naturally has a small waist. So that’s an asset to highlight. On the other hand, she tends to store fat around the saddlebags area. That fat storage completely threw off her silhouette. An imbalance made worse by her narrow shoulders. So the goal was to balance her upper and lower body, to create the leaner, more elongated silhouette she was looking for.  

To get there, we focused on:

  • her glutes, which needed to be lifted;
  • the back of her legs, to smooth the skin there;
  • her back, to improve her posture;
  • her shoulders, to open up her chest and help improve posture;
  • the back of her arms, to firm them up.

This targeted strength training work, combined with her fat loss, helped elongate her silhouette. Today she looks taller, without gaining a single centimeter. And the cherry on top, her waist is now beautifully highlighted.

In practical terms, Juliette started with 10 minutes of exercise a day. Since she had never done strength training before, it was the ideal way to give her body time to adapt.

Here is the program Juliette followed during her first 6 months of coaching. One strength training exercise each day, about 10 minutes of exercise. The chosen exercises target shoulders, arms, back, glutes, and thighs, while stimulating the body as a whole.

Once her body was used to it and strong enough, we were able to progress her program. She moved on to 4 workouts of 30 minutes per week.

Juliette’s program after 6 months of training: 3 exercises per workout, 4 times per week. Once the basics were in place, we were able to expand her exercise selection. And always with the same goal: firm up her body as a whole.

This new program accelerated her progress, and her body transformation along with it. A body that became firmer, leaner, and more shaped over time. And performance that kept improving. 

Coralie and Laëtitia followed the same logic.

At 48, Coralie wasn’t athletic at all. So much so that her first months of strength training were difficult for her. So 10 minutes of exercise a day was the perfect format to start. After a few months, and with consistent effort, she transformed herself. 

And the best part is that strength training became a real pleasure for her.

And of course, you won’t end up too muscular unless that’s what you want. That doesn’t happen by accident. It all depends on your goals. Your strength training program flows from those goals. Want to slim your silhouette while firming it up? No problem. Want to see more muscle definition? No problem. The choice is yours. You are the architect of your body. 

All of this brings us to the second-to-last key that will help you lose 30 kg for good. And you’ll see, it’s directly connected to the first two. 

Key #3: To lose 30 kg of fat while building muscle, eat enough protein

You’ve understood it by now, succeeding in your body transformation is not just about eating fewer calories.

We want to get rid of those extra 30 kg, but not just any way. In the end, we want neither loose skin nor a soft body. And above all, we want to be able to keep that silhouette for the rest of our lives. And the nutrient that plays a crucial role here is, *drumroll please*: protein (what suspense).

That famous protein is far too often neglected by women. And yet, it’s essential.

From a nutrition standpoint, it plays an essential role in satiety. And when you’re in a caloric deficit, it’s incredibly important to feel full while eating fewer calories.

From a strength training and physique standpoint, protein is what allows you to build muscle. To firm up your body while shaping it. Doing strength training without eating enough protein is like climbing two steps of a staircase and then going back down one. You put in a lot of unnecessary effort and take much longer to reach your destination. 

Third and final important point, eating enough protein while in a caloric deficit allows you to preserve your lean body mass, your muscles, while eliminating fat mass. Without that, your body doesn’t distinguish between muscle and fat, and will draw the energy it needs from both. In the end, yes, you lose fat, but you also lose muscle. And that’s exactly what we want to keep.

But in practical terms, what does eating enough protein actually mean?

On this point, the science is very clear: to get all the benefits you just read about, aim between 1.6 and 2.3 g of protein per kg of body weight. Do you weigh 80 kg? Aim a daily range of 126 g to 184 g of protein.

That’s why we advise women who want to lose 30 kg or more to prioritize foods that are: 

  • High in protein;
  • Low in calories;
  • Foods they enjoy eating. 

That’s what Juliette did, by adding poultry and white fish to her diet. These foods gave her plenty of high-quality protein while being very low in calories. It’s ideal for a caloric deficit. Juliette added her little homemade sauces to bring more indulgence to her plate, without the calories that usually come with it.

Edith and Justine also increased their daily protein intake, which had been very low. They used the high-protein recipes we shared with you above and adapted them to their tastes. The result? They enjoyed eating while losing weight. Their before-and-afters speak for themselves. 

Edith wanted to enjoy life with her children and husband without being limited by her weight. And she did it!

Today, she’s living the life she dreamed of. Playing with her children, doing physical activities with her husband, going out and enjoying time with friends, her weight is no longer a daily problem at all.

Justine, for her part, wanted to live in good health while regaining her self-confidence. And like Edith, she reached her goals.

But that’s not all.

There’s one last point we want to cover with you today. A reality that usually isn’t told to women trying to lose weight. And yet it’s just as important as the caloric deficit, the strength training program, and protein.

Key #4: To lose 30 kg for good, bet on consistency, not perfection

Your body transformation happens in 2 stages: 

  • The first, losing the 30 kg you want to get rid of;
  • The second, maintaining your new silhouette.

And both stages depend on the same thing: your relationship with failure. 

It’s your ability to keep moving forward despite slipups and unexpected events that will allow you to stick with it over time. Because even with the best strength training program and the best diet in the world, the results won’t come if you give up at the first difficulty.

But what does that actually mean? 

The slightest slipup has always been demonized. As if there were only one path to success. Be perfect or do nothing. Eat perfectly. Train perfectly. Follow the plan perfectly, down to the comma. But in real life, it never works like that. There are days when you’re too tired to train. Others when you don’t have time. And still others when you eat more than planned.

In short, there are good days, and bad days. And it’s precisely in those bad days that everything is decided.

In those moments, you have two options: 

  • Accept that this slipup is an integral part of the process, and pick your strength training and nutrition back up where you left off;
  • Let the frustration of the moment take over and give up.

In the end, it’s not the slipup itself that determines your results. It’s what you do right after.

Juliette faced that dozens of times. Especially since she tended to put herself down at the slightest opportunity. And yet, she understood something fundamental: missing a workout or eating more than planned has never stopped anyone from succeeding. But giving up because of it has.  She set perfection aside and prioritized what really works: consistency. Doing a little bit every day.

And that’s exactly what allowed her to transform her body for good.

10 months ago, I joined Jérémy's program feeling deeply exhausted, both physically and mentally, with the sense that I'd tried everything without ever being able to stick with it over time.

Living with moderate obesity, I tried different methods, diets, fasting, and even electrostimulation, but I always ended up giving up, with more frustration, more guilt, and extra weight gained.

The real wake-up call came when I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea: my weight gain was no longer just about my appearance or my self-esteem, but also about my health.

Hello, I'm 52 years old, and I had been struggling for more than 5 years trying to lose weight. I was exhausting myself doing cardio, Pilates, basically trying a bit of everything, and when it came to food, I thought I was eating well.

A difference of about 10 kg (weight loss) and a more toned physique.

Not everything was perfect. Sometimes, I didn’t follow the program, and Jérémy helped me let go of the guilt. Those moments are part of the process, what matters is doing your best and sticking with it. Sometimes, I felt like it was pointless, then I looked at the results. I was proud of myself. Other times, I was extremely consistent and it was absolutely on fire.

Before Jérémy, my body was a real obstacle and I didn’t understand why my weight was going up even though “I wasn’t eating that badly.”

I chose to start coaching after gradual weight gain that was worrying me. Despite that, the professionals I saw did not take me seriously, since my BMI was considered "normal." I was often told that "after 40, that's completely common." And yet, deep down, I knew something was wrong. So in the end, I had more or less resigned myself and accepted it: it was too late to change, and I would just live with the consequences of letting myself go for the rest of my life, dissatisfied...

Then, this summer, came the wake-up moment: I couldn’t keep up with my sons and my husband or fully enjoy family activities.

I reached out to Jérémy after gaining weight following a thyroidectomy, combined with the onset of menopause.
